LEON BAPTIST CHURCH, #2 was
organized 5 May, 1891, and was admitted to the Hamilton County Baptist Association on 14 August,
1891. Grove Baptist Church and New Hope Baptist Church,
#1 merged on 5 May, 1891, to form Leon Baptist
Church. This Leon Baptist Church disappeared from the minutes of
HCBA prior to 1897.
