MANNING SCHOOL, No. 13
Miss S. A. Stockton was employed to teach at
Manning School, No. 13 for three months on 10 May, 1880, by trustees S.
Loyd and Francis Marion Carter. It appears that Manning
School was in the same community as was the New Hope Baptist
Church, #1, and that they existed at the same time.
