MERIDIAN CREEK SCHOOL

MERIDIAN CREEK SCHOOL: Seven
grades were taught in the Meridian Creek School in 1911. The school
board in 1924-25 included J. T. Abel, Ben Gleason, and E.
C. Parks. The teacher was Miss Ida B. Miller. Meridian Creek
School consolidated with Fairy School before 1936. Bill
Shepherd drove the school bus from Meridian Creek to Fairy in
1936 when Meridian Creek School board members were Leslie
Arrant, Walter Abel, and R. L. Dennis.
