C. L. McClintock was born in Alabama and came to Texas
as a young man in 1888. After a short stay here he returned to his home
state and married Miss Zolimer Mitchell and he and his bride returned to
Hamilton County where Mr. McClintock engaged in farming and stock raising
for several years before moving to Hamilton to enter the grocery business.
During the past twelve years he has conducted his business at the same
location at the edge of Hamilton on the old Evant Road. He has carried on
through good times and bad.
His friendly disposition, good business judgment, and
fair treatment of his customers has built for him a fine business and made
him many friends. Otis McClintock, son of Mr. and Mrs. McClintock is
associated with his father in the business.
This store caries a complete line of groceries and
fruits. Their slogan is "Service, quality, and price" and in
this Historical and Trade Expansion Edition of the Count News we are glad
to recommend the McClintock Grocery to our readers.
