M. N. BAKER  --1897

M. N. Baker, a native of New York state, was born in 1854.  In 1882 he came to Hamilton and went into the sheep business with S. D. Felt.  The partnership lasted two years and was dissolved, and the stock and ranch lands being equally divided between them.  For two more years he was in the sheep business, then fell heir to large estate at Toledo, Ohio.  He and his brother, W. L. Baker, then opened an office here for the purchase, division and sale of Hamilton County lands to actual settlers on easy terms.

The County News has been informed that Mr. Baker now (1938) lives at Dallas.
