The picture of the group shown here was taken about 45 years ago. It is the old Spurlin force of employees. These men are, standing, left to right,

Tom Turvey, deceased;

John Scott;

J. R. (James Robert) Miller, deceased, father of R. B. Miller of Hamilton, Roger Miller of Gatesville, and Mrs. Horace Fowler of Hamilton;

J. J. (Joe J., Sr.) Cleveland, deceased, father of Joe and Dr. C. C. Cleveland of Hamilton;

W. M. Maxwell, deceased, great-uncle of Jas. M. Bolding, who lived in Hamilton until two years ago;

J. E. Boynton, deceased, great-uncle of Harry Boynton of Hamilton.

Seated, left to right are

C. E. Horton, deceased, whose widow now lives here;

John Mark Williams, who is now in the hardware and furniture business here; and

John L. Spurlin, deceased.
