RESLEYS CREEK BAPTIST CHURCH
1873--aft. 1881

Resleys Creek Baptist Church existed before 1873.  Daniel S. Babb, missionary for the Leon River Baptist Association reported in September, 1873, that he had preached one sermon at Resleys Creek during that year in the church which was a member of the Leon River Association. Its address in 1881 was "Carlton, Comanche County, TX."   

Resleys Creek Baptist Church was admitted, as a charter member, to the Comanche Baptist Association on 1 October, 1875.  

PERHAPS Resleys Creek Baptist Church was admitted to Hamilton County Baptist Association in 1880. (Minutes are not available for 1880.)  

A. H. Haley was pastor of Resleys Creek Baptist Church in 1881 and J. J. Henry was the church clerk. Messengers to the Hamilton County Baptist annual association meeting were J. J. Henry and W. H. Shelton

Resleys Creek Baptist Church disappeared from the minutes of HCBA after 1881.
