ROUND MOUNTAIN School was a few miles northwest of Fairview near CR 528. It is almost sixteen miles southwest of Hamilton.  Miss Elta Putnam was employed as the teacher at Round Mountain School on April 9, 1880. Trustees were John Eddy and H. Baker. Miss Putnam was employed again on May 31, 1880, to teach when the trustees were J. Cooper and S. V. Sumruld.
