MULLER - my MATERNAL LINE - mother's -> father's -> mother's -> father

Jacques Muller immigrated to America shortly after his youngest daughter was born. His wife and 4 daughters joined him a couple of years later. They settled in Boston where Jacques opened up a Florist shop on Broadway Street. Jacques brought with him a percusion cap rifle and a branding iron. These 2 ancestral heirlooms are still found in the possesion of Jacques' eldest daughter's descendants.

Jacques was said to be a loyal French resistor. He received a certificate of good conduct from the French army in February of 1857. Oral history states the main reason Jacques fled to America was to ensure that his rifle did fall into German hands and be used against his beloved country.
