The photo is on the family farm in Kiowa County, Oklahoma about 1913. This was after the family returned to Kiowa County from Payne County. Ethel's husband Emmett Dobbs died in December 1913 in a railroad accident in Mulvane, Kansas. Edna, their daughter was born January 29, 1913. (Abt 1913)
