Photo was dated on the back as Christmas, 1914. Hiram would have been 60 and Isabelle would have been 57. Family members have indicated that Hiram Rufus was blind in his left eye. It may have been due to falling on a corn stalk when he was younger? The photo was taken in the Livingston Studio in Hobart, Oklahoma, after the family had moved back to their farm southwest of Hobart in Kiowa County, Oklahoma. (1914)
