Solomon Bridenstine (Abt 1860)

Solomon Bridenstine was Hiram Rufus's Bridenstine's father. The picture is a twin to the picture of Lucinda, Solomon's wife. The picture is a pencil charcoal. Estimating the picture was taken while the family was still in Ohio, about the time the Civil War began. Solomon would have been 50 and Lucinda would have been 42. Photo was in the posession of Val and Carolyn Bridenstine in 2000 and they identified Solomon. The original picture is a 9.75 x 8.00 Oval Portrait. (Abt 1860)
