| In 1860 they had relocated to Center township, Greene county, Indiana. The children Edward and Cyntha(?) from the 1850 census are not listed in the 1860 census and may have died at an early age. Edward and Cyntha are not shown in the family record that I have. |

The family of Jesse and Rachel Rainbolt were enumerated on the next census page.
Thomas died on February 25, 1861. On Aug 7, 1862 Mahala married Jesse Railsback whose wife Rachel had also died in 1861. They appear in the 1870 census of Center township; their children Elisha Rainbolt and Sarah Freeman who had married in 1858 were living in the next household. |
| Jesse Rainbolt died on Nov 16, 1873; Mahala Railsback Freeman Rainbolt died on February 28, 1875. |
