My Great-great-great-grandmother, Elizabeth Tenneson, created this sampler in 1809 at age 11. She was married first to John Ashton in 03 Apr 1815 at Bishop Wilton, Yorkshire, England. Elizabeth married second to my Great-great-great-grandfather James Summers 09 Oct 1832 at the Anglican Christ Church Cathedral in Montreal, Quebec. Both from England, they lived in Quebec and later in Lobo Township, Middlesex County, Ontario where James died in an accident on 8 Feb 1841. Elizabeth married third, Anthony Steele. She died 4 Mar 1880 in London Township, Middlesex Co., Ontario.
