Will I ever update the site? I seriously doubt it there is just simply too much information and while working the book in a different format and program did not give me much of a chance to update easily.

Your testimonials about our book.

Jesse: First of all, I received my book today. I can hardly wait to get into it and read it. I think you have done a great job. It is certainly an asset to our family history library.
Thank you so much for your efforts.

Thanks again. Best wishes to you, and yours, Pauline

Jesse . . . . I just got in from work and a business trip, and the books were in the mail box. I have opened it enough to skim, and it looks beautiful. Have not had time to read, but I thought you might want to know it was here.

I got my book yesterday and have really enjoyed it. I have not finished it yet. I keep looking to see if any of the Little's were at Gorman where Thomas Roberts died. So far I have found a lot in Texas but none in Gorman. There was one buried at Brenham during the time we lived there. It is a shame we didn't know them. We lived there nearly twenty years and knew a lot of people but I suppose our paths never crossed. I wonder where they lived. We lived a block south of the old High School. Do you know if any of them still live in Brenham?
Thanks for doing the book and for sending mine.
Flo

Hi  Jesse,   I  got the book right on time.    You have a lot of information that I did not have, but you worked harder than I did.  There are a couple of things that I didn't know about.  One is the children of Carroll G. Little.  As you know, he was my brother, and I'm wondering where you got the information that all three of his children were carrying the " Brown " surname.  What happened is , he married  Jimmie Brown, and she had one child named Jaycile Brown. I think he adopted her, but that be as it may, doesn't matter.  What may matter is that Carroll and Jimmie had two children together, and their surnames are " Little". I have gone back to my files to see if maybe it was my fault, but in my files they are listed correctly.  And if you will check the dates of birth on the children, you will see that they were born much after Carroll and Jimmie were married. Who gave you this information, anyway? Another thing that I see is the Grave Marker of Joseph Early Little that is on the same page as Salina's Grave Marker.  lists Early Elijah Little.  It is hard to read, but by looking carefully you will see that the marker says " Eld. J. E. Little,  and gives Joseph Early Little's birth date.   But you may want to be ready for someone to give some flack about some things in it.    I am glad that you did the book, anyway.  You did the best that you could, and it needed to be done.   Thanks,   Calvin

I received your mailing of the Little manuscript in good order and have poured over it ! Its exciting and very revealing!  To actually see the connections between family members ! I talked with my Uncle Eugene Williams whose Mom was my grandmother, Georgia Lela Little and the names from her side of the family got him talking and remembering some tid bits that I am putting together. Anything  new I will pass on to you.   Have you figured out how closely we are related? I know we are cousins in some way, I will try in my spare time to really take a better look at the lines in your book.  My grandma Georgia Lela Little married Charlie Williams . The Williams's are a harder bunch to locate although we seem to go back to Roger Williams of Rhode Island, I'm working on that line  daily also.   You have done a fine job on the Little Book!

Sincerely, Kathie Williams Pitman
