Veluzat Bible This site provides images of pages from the Bible of Lewis Veluzat. Lewis and Mary (Rose) Veluzat are the ancestors of (we believe) all of the Veluzats in America today. Their son, Stephen Rose Veluzat was the father of Sophia Veluzat who married William Clark Bowles.
French Veluzat Documents Lewis Veluzat was the only son of Jean Baptiste Francois Veluzat who came from France to America, perhaps during the American Revolution. Maurice Lignon, a descendant of Antoine Louis Veluzat has provided images of four important documents that speak of one or more Veluzats in France. These have been translated from French into English by Mr. Lignon.

Also included are notes related to the families described in his book. Included in the booklet are a number of the members of the John Bowles family.
Wills Read the will of John Pace of Middlesex County, or the will of Henry Clark of Henry County VA John Pace was the ancestor of Nancy Gatewood Pace who married Samuel Clark. Samual Clark was the son of Henry Clark. Samuel and Nancy Clark were the parents of Nancy Hayden Clark who married Austin Washington Bowles.
