Census of Rivi�re du Nord-Est/North Side

Enselme Boudrot, ploughman, native of l'Acadie, aged 33 years, has been in the country two years.

Married to Genevi�ve Giroir, native of l'Acadie, aged 31 years.

They have three sons and one daughter:-

Enselme, aged 7 years.
Simon, aged one year.
Henriette, aged 4 years.

Their live stock consists of four oxen, four cows, four ewes, and two pigs. The land upon which they are settled is situated on the north side of the said river, and was given to them verbally by M. de Bonnaventure. They have made a clearing on it for the sowing of twenty bushels of wheat next spring.

Census of the Rivi�re du Moulin-�-scie

Thomas Douaron, ploughman, native of l'Acadie, aged 53 years, and has been in the country two years.

Married to Anne Giroir, native of l'Acadie, aged 48 years.

They have ten children, four sons and six daughters:-

Paul Douaron, aged 21 years.
Charles, aged 14 years.
Alexandre, aged 12 years.
Jasques, aged 10 years.
Roze, aged 22 years.
Magdelaine, aged 18 years.
Anne, aged 8 years.
Marie Marthe, aged 6 years.
Elizabeth, aged 5 years.
Margueritte, aged 3 years.

In live stock they have one ox, one heifer, two sows, one pig, and thirty-three fowls. The land upon which they are settled is situated on the south side of the Rivi�re du Nord-Est, and was given to them by Monsieur de Bonnaventure. On it, they have made a clearing of two arpents in extent and have sown two bushels of wheat

Census of the Rivi�re du Moulin-�-scie

Pierre Barriaud, native of l'Acadie, aged 45 years, he has been in the country two years.

Married to V�ronique Giroir, native of l'Acadie, aged 44 years.

They have two sons and seven daughters:-

Jean Baptiste Barriaud, aged 19 years.
Olivier, aged 15 years.
Marie Blanche, aged 17 years.
Anne, aged 13 years.
Anastasie, aged 11 years.
Pelagie, aged 9 years.
Frozine, aged 7 years.
Marie, aged 5 years.
Helenne, aged one year.

And in live stock four oxen, one cow, one calf, one wether, five ewes, two sows, five pigs, and twenty-five fowls. The land upon which they are settled is situated as in the preceding case, it was given to them verbally by Monsieur de Bonnaventure. They have made on it a clearing of eight arpents in extent, where they have sown seven bushels of wheat and seven bushels of oats.

Census of Malpec

Louis Giroir, ploughman, native of l'Acadie, aged 36 years, he has been two years in the country.

Married to
Marie Thibaudeau, native of l'Acadie, aged 28 years.

They have six children, three sons and three daughters.

Gervais, aged 8 years.
Firmain aged 3 years.
Charles, aged 8 months.
Marguerite, aged 15 years.
Anne Theodose, aged 13 years.
Marie Joseph, aged 6 years.

They have one pig for the whole of their live stock. The land upon which they are settled is situated on the north shore of Rivi�re de Macpec [Malpec]. They have only had it since the 25th of July last, and have made a clearing of about one arpent.

Census of Malpec

Joseph LeBlanc, ploughman, naive of l'Acadie, aged 34 years, he has been in the country one year.
Married to Magdelaine Giroir, native of l'Acadie, aged 33 years.

They have six children, two sons and four daughters:-

Bazille, aged 11 years.
Joseph, aged 9 years.
Marie, aged 7 years,
Elizabeth, aged 5 years.
Marguerite, aged 3 years.
Magdelaine, aged 8 months.

They have no live stock. The land on which they are settled since last autumn, is situated as in the preceding case. On it they have made a clearing of about two arpents in extent.
