The haplotypes of Group 11’s R1b Irish line are common and all members have tested for 67 markers.  At this time, these McKinney and Kenny surnamed participants are considered a family group based on the surname variation and the assumption that neither of the Kenny matches is due to convergence. Two of the three McKinney surnamed participants share a paper trail in the U.S. and it’s likely the 3^rd is closely related.  Their Irish McKinney surnamed line came to America (U.S.) in the mid-1700’s.  The Kenny surnamed lines came to North America (Canada, US) in the-mid 1800’s. HK appears to be more closely related to the McKinneys than to JK.
