The family researcher believes this line may be "Ulster" Irish, or Scots Irish. According to family tradition, the family arrived in the port of Charlestown, SC, and walked west to farm. The family was in Kentucky and then migrated to New Albany, Floyd County, Indiana.

     His wife was Anna Lorena Fiske

    Born 23 Oct 1876, in New Albany, Floyd County, Indiana
    Died 24 Feb 1945, in New Albany, Floyd County, Indiana
    His wife was Hundley Blackwell Wells (1871-1943)
    Married 28 Dec 1898, in New Albany, Floyd County, Indiana

* There were several Moses Kenney/Keeney men in Kentucky during the same time period and this has resulted in many confused/incorrect (undocumented!) genealogies. Some state that this Moses married Catherine Stogsdill and others state that he married to Parthenia Green. However, descendants of Moses Keeney of Pulaski Co., KY (son of Peter Keeney of VA), state that Catherine Stogsdill was the second wife of their Moses and they do NOT report a child named John Muir Kenney for this couple.
