James Barnett Kenney (JBK) of Ireland, VA
WORKSHEET

DNA Family Group 22

Revised 1 October 2007

This is referred to as the James Barnett Kenney (JBK) line based on the reported genealogies.  However, the two participants both descend from his grandson John C. Kenney.  Thus, we have established the likely Y-DNA signature of John C.  It is assumed that no “non paternal events” occurred between James Barnett and grandson John C.  To firmly establish the likely DNA signature of James Barnett Kenney, we would need a participant descending from another son of James Barnett Kenney.

The colors indicate the shared ancestors of the participants.  The line of the JBK researcher Carol Kenney Lovitt is also included here for reference.
