1) THOMAS (McKinney?) KINNEY born ca. 1820, KY, married Sarah (1829-1908).
According to family tradition, his family may have been from Onondaga Co., NY.
Children: Eliza J., John Wm., Joel, Susanna, Wm. Greene.
After Thomas died, Sarah married Civil War Judge John McMillan who was born in Canada. He already had several children; he and Sarah had two or three children (who died).

2) WM. GREENE KINNEY, SR., born ca. 1860 (died 1884 in Elk Twp., Stoddard Co. MO) married Emma Adelaide Black on 22 Dec 1881 in Stoddard Co., MO. Emma was the daughter of James Black and Sarah Conway. Emma was born 14 Aug 1862 at Union Co., IL; her second husband was Joseph Thomas Majors. Emma died in Dexter, Stoddard Co., MO.

3) WM. GREENE KINNEY, JR., born 3 Feb 1883, on family farm near Essex, Stoddard Co., MO, died in a nursing home in Cape Gardeau in 1970, buried in Dexter Cemetery, Stoddard Co., MO. He married 1st Janny Lee Bilbrey, born 25 Sep 1885, Puxico, Stoddard Co., MO. This marriage ended in divorce. Wm. Rupert Kinney was the only child of this marriage. Wm. Greene Kinney, Jr., married 2nd Martha Cruse. Their children: Abraham Lincoln Kinney (never married), Ida Kinney (never married) and a married daughter who is still living. The family lived in Dexter, Stoddard Co., MO.

4) WM. RUPERT KINNEY, born 08 APR 1907 in Puxico, Stoddard Co., MO, died 23 Mar 1992, Oklahoma City, OK Co., OK. He is buried in the Oaklawn Cemetery at Sulphur, Murray Co., OK. He married Mildred Eleanor Kates, daughter of Wm. Campbell Kates and Ruth Elizabeth Hawkins. They were married 02 June 1931 in Claremore, Rogers Co., OK. Mildred was born 01 Jan 1915 in Claremore, Rogers Co., OK and died 20 June 1992 in Norman, Cleveland Co., OK. She too is buried in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur, Murray Co., OK. They were the parents of two sons and two daughters (PRIVATE).
