DNA SURNAME LINES
============================================================================
The below information was provided by the participant or his representative and may contain errors.
Presentations vary depending on the information provided.

Fielding Kinney, Sr. c. 1800 of Hart Co., KY

There may be a relationship between this family and that of 108820 (DNA does not match).

Participant 56392

1) Thomas Kinney, lived in Lincoln Co., KY, in 1790 and in Casey Co., KY, in 1810; he died between 1820-1824, in Green Co KY.
He is believed to be the father of:

2) Fielding Kinney [Sr.]
b. abt. 1803 Kentucky (probably Lincoln or Green Co) - d. 1870-1880 Hart Co KY
He had three wives; Mary Elizabeth Fuqua was the mother of:

3) Fielding Kinney, Jr. (or II)
b. 1849 Hart Co KY - d. after 1880 Census and before 1900, place unknown
m. Malinda Taylor

4) George Burt Kinney
b. 25 April 1871 Hart Co. KY - d. 07 July 1954 Tulsa Co OK
m. Margaret Isabelle Kinney (they were "half" first cousins, see * below)

5) Lewis Kinney (no middle name)
b. Mar 05, 1905 Shannon Co. MO - d. Oct 11, 2001, Pawnee Co OK

6) Private (brother of the family researcher)

7) Participant 56392 (nephew of the family researcher)

* According to the family researcher:
Fielding Sr. had three wives and several children including son Fielding Jr. (mother Fuqua) and Sarah (mother Kerr). Those two had different mothers, hence they were half siblings.
Fielding Jr.'s son George married Sarah's daughter Margaret
Hence, the couple George and Margaret were "half" first cousins.
Adding further confusion to the tree is that Margaret's maiden name was also Kinney.  Margaret's mother Sarah Kinney married a man named William Howard Kinney. However, it is believed that although William Howard Kinney was known as the son of Howard Kinney (m. Sidebottom), his biological father may have had the surname of Woolridge (or variation).
