1.  William Kenny.
I was told that my great great grandfather married a woman named Mary Ammound or Amound whose family were rich Anglican's. She married a Catholic so she was disowned and they had to move from where they lived. It may have been Kilkenny or Kerry.

3.  William Kenny born in 1880 Athy Ireland.  Married Brigida Mary Hoey (her Mother was Lucy Byrne).
My grandfather had to flee Ireland in 1910 he was a member of the Irish Brotherhood, he sent for me Grandmother and father several years later. My Grand Father use to say that he had a cousin in Australia who was a nurse called sister Kenny? was William Kenny and his Mother was Brigida Mary Hoey, and her Mother was Lucy Byrne.  My Grandfather use to say that Kilkenny was named after our family by the English they would shout Killkenny,  but we were too smart for them. 

4.  Thomas James Kenny born December 03, 1907 in Castledermot, County Kildare
