*Adjustments are required when comparing markers between OA and FTDNA. Add 3 to OA's DYS389i result and then add that sum to their DYS389ii number.
There is more than one reporting convention for markers 389i and 389ii (also known as 389-1 and 389-2). In the above example, these markers are reported as 10 and 17 by OA, as 13 and 30 by FTDNA (the first is added to the second). They would be reported as 13 and 17 in the Genographic Project (National Geographic).
