*Took a string of mules to Dakota City, NE to help build R.R. bridge across
Missouri River at South Souix City. He and son William worked selling beef
to Indians on the reservation. Jasper A. Odell ran away to Dakoth Co. after he
beat up his school teacher. There is where he met his wife Julia.

Jasper O'Dell B. Apr 29, 1835 and died Mar 2, 1918. He is located in Omaha Valley
Cemetery Section D. This section is located in the old sections of the cemetery.
When entering the cemetery from the North Entrance. Turn Left and proceed East
till you come to the first right turn -- Patrick Higgins in on the side on Section
B near the turn. So if you have passed him then you have gone too far. p; After
you turn then Section D is on your left. There are a total of 17 O'Dell's buried
in this cemetery. They are all in Section D.
