but leaving the medicine cabinet intact, with it's door open, and all the contents
undisturbed. My folks used to go down and play dominoes with Amil and Helen

on Sep 14, 1915 in Morning Star Cemetary, Chandler, Lincoln Co., Oklahoma.235 Terry Clover's data has his
middle name as Franklin. There's no hard evidence either way. Born in Missouri,
he moved with his father's fmaily to Kansas between 1866 and 1867. Like his
father, he was first a farmer. When his first wife died, he gave his two boys
to the care of her two sisters, Sam to Jake and Eliza Winkelman, and Bert to
Will and Emma Wells. He then married Molly Davidson and had a large second family.
Mary Elizabeth Simpson, Ben's granddaughter, remembers his death this way,
"Grampa was standing in a wagon holding the reins. The mules started and jerked him out of the wagon. He struck his head on the street and lingered for 8 or 10 days unconscious before he died."
