Our Sheppard / Lee Family History

                     My Grandfather was George Sheppard b. 1908.  He had six brother and two sisters.
                      There parents were Matthew Sheppard b. 1870, and Eliza nee Hardy b. 1872.
                      George married Ethel May nee Hall b. 1911. Ethel's parents were John Gray Hall II and Ethel nee Dexter.
                      George and Ethel had three children. The first died at 14 months. The other two were my Uncle and my
                      mother.
                      My father was Bert Leonnard Lee b. 1932. He and his sister's parents were Bert Lee b. 1880 and Violet nee                                                                             Rumbelow b. 1899.  Violet Rumbelow was prior married to Mr. Blagdurn and had two children with him. So my                                                                         father had two sisters and a brother. No one knows where Bert Lee b. 1880 comes from. Some think it was                                                                             Chester, near Wales, and that he is half Welsh. We may never know.

It is my greatest hope that more of my family will recognize the information on this site, and share their information and stories with me.
