STARK

Alexander Stark (c1830-1893), the son of Charles Stark and Mary Glasscock, was born in London, England. He came out to Australia with his brother James on the ship "Hurricane", arriving in Melbourne in August 1854. He married Elizabeth Vippond in Bendigo in 1857 and James married Hannah Spice in 1869. Alexander was a miner in the Bendigo and Mount Alexander goldfields.

Alexander and Elizabeth had the following children:

Alexander (Senior) and Minnie are buried in unmarked graves in Fryerstown Cemetery.

Emily married Patrick Kennedy in 1900 after the death of Philip Williams. Their children included:
