Colleen Maria WARD

Colleen STEWART Colleen passed away Saturday at 10:00 a.m. surrounded by loved ones. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Ron. Together they had 4 children: Dan, Trina, Beth, Hugh and their families along with 5 grandchildren. Colleen lived her entire life in the Seattle area.
Her passions included Twins Club, Circus Fans, her family, grandchildren, and 4 legged family members. Memorial contributions made in her honor should go to the Seattle Union Gospel Mission on 2nd Ave (ugm.org). There will be a Gathering celebrating her Life Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Please contact friends or family for location. Published in Seattle Times from 1/16/2008 - 1/17/2008.

It is with a very heavy heart that we send this email. Colleen Stewart passed away on Saturday, January 12th, surrounded by her family. Colleen led a very full life in which family was the center of her world. Colleen passed along her strength, wisdom, love, and sense of humor, which will continue to live on through her family. Colleen would not want us to be saddened by her passing, but instead celebrate her life with the same passion that she did. With that in mind, the family would like to invite you to a celebration of Colleen's life on Sunday, January 20th, from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the VFW Hall, 416 Burnett South, Renton, WA. If so inclined, please bring a dish to pass. Family members are also creating memory books for current and future generations and would like to ask that you bring copies of special photos of Colleen. These will not be returned, so please be sure they are copies. Also come prepared to share your favorite stories. As an active member of the Circus Fans Association, Colleen shared her funny laughs and her gift of gab, which will surely be missed.

Colleen was a homemaker and an active member of the Valley Mothers of Multiples Club & Circus Fans Association. At her life celebration her children gave her what every mother wants to hear when they eulogized her with the following statement: "Colleen led a very full life in which family was the center of her world.  She passed along her strength, wisdom, love, and sense of humor, which will continue to live on through her family. "

Ron was retired from Boeing and in later life he and Colleen ran away to join the circus. He also is the local Santa at Christmas time and a lover of Elephants.
