Mrs. Breithaupt, Grade School Teacher, Dies; Tacoma News Tribune 6 December 1970 C-19

Mrs. Charles I. (Athalie) Breithaupt, of 6111-E. 80th St. Puyallup, died Thursday. She was born in Gig Harbor and lived in the Tacoma area since 1942.  Mrs. Breithaupt was a teacher at Elmhurst Elementary School.  She was a graduate of Central Washington State College and she completed post-graduate work at Pacific Lutheran University and CWSC. Mrs. Breithaupt was a member of the Fourth Church of Christ, Scientist.  She also belonged to Faith Chapter, OES; Delta Kappa Gamma, a teacher's honorary society; PTA; national Education Association, and Washington Education Association. Survivors include her husband; a son, Roger Deane, of Olympia; a daughter, Mrs. Linda Ann Casey, of Bridgeport, Conn.; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul A. Schulz of Tacoma; a brother, Donald E Schulz, of Tacoma; and two grandchildren. Services were held Saturday under the direction of Lynn Funeral Home.

In the name of God Amen. The sixth day of December one thousand seven
hundred and ninety four I John Sheffield of Moore County & State of North Carolina being by decay of nature unwell but of perfect mind and memory, thanks be to God, for the same therefore calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men to die and after death to judgement, I do hereby leave bequeath and dispose of my Goods and chattels in manner and form following that is to say I commit my body to the earth to be buried in a decent Christian manner at the discretion of my executors and likewise my soul into the hand of God, that gave it, knowing that after death I shall come to judgement and as to my worldly affairs I leave bequeath and give in manner and form following that is to say principally and first of all, I leave and bequeath to my well beloved wife HANNAH SHEFFIELD, the plantation whereon I now do live with the buildings, orchards and improvements thereon with one hundred acres of Land, during her widowhood with all my stock & cattle (Impremise?). I leave and
bequeath to my son MARK SHEFFIELD one shilling sterling.
