John Thomas HIGHSMITH Rev.

He moved with his parents from NC to GA where he lived out his life. He
served as 2nd Lieutenant in the Wayne County militia, 335th District,
1831-1838.  He also served as a private under Capt. James Walker in the
Indian War from June 9th to August 19th, 1838.
