MORGAN, Harold "Al" (age 73) --- Passed away April 28, 1983, in Spokane. A lifetime resident of Rosalia, WA. Survived by his wife Evelyn Morgan, at the home; two sons, Harold "Pete" Morgan, Walla Walla, WA; Roberta A. Morgan, Steamwood, IL; two brothers, George E. Morgan, Olympia, WA; Lee Morgan, Plaza, WA, 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Memorial graviside services Wednesday, May 4, 1983 at 1:00 pm at the IOOF Evergreen Cemetery, Rosalia, WA. Jan passed on peacefully in the comfort of her home on March 14, 2003. Born February 11, 1938 in Tekoa, Washington. She is survived by her husband Jim; Daughter Mary, her husband Jeff and their children Michelle, Megan, and Eric; Son Jimmie; Daughter Kristen, her husband Wes and their girls Kameron and Madison; Brother Doug, his wife Joanne and their daughter Tiffany. Jan grew up among the rolling wheat fields of eastern Washington outside Spokane. She married Jim after graduating from Eastern Washington University. They lived throughout the country during six years in the Army before settling in the Seattle area and starting a happy and strong family. Her warm way, friendly smile, and beautiful eyes brought her many friends whom she dearly loved. She dedicated her life to family, school, church and community activities. A Celebration of Life service will be held on March 22, 2003, 10:30 a.m. at St. Philomena Catholic Church, 1790 S. 22nd Ave., Des Moines, WA. 98198 with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, family suggests remembrances be made to Providence Hospice of Seattle, 425 Pontius Ave. N., #300, Seattle, WA. 98109-5452. They helped provide Jan with excellent care for extended periods of time during her long illness.

George Edward Morgan, 80, a 12-year resident of Olympia, died Monday, Feb. 15, 1988, in St. Peter Hospital.
He was born Aug. 11, 1907 to Edward and Florence (Mortlock) Morgan, in Rosalia, south of Spokane. He attended Cheney Normal School and the University of Washington. He was married to Lillie Hoye on Dec. 25, 1936, in Eastern Washington/ Mr. Morgan was a teacher for more than 40 years, mostly in the Issaquah School District where he taught at both the junior high and high school levels. He coached, and he taught physical education and history until his retirement in 1973. He was a Mason, and a member of Retired Teachers Association and American Association of Retired Persons. He enjoyed fishing and card playing. Surviving are his wife, daughter, nad son-in-law, Michele and Bob Drewett, all of the family home; his daughter, Pat Kubel, Olympia; one son and daughter-in-law, John and Gayle Morgan, Issaquah; one brother, Lee Morgan, Cheney; also four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for Mr. Morgan will begin at 3:00 pm Sunday, Feb. 21, in John Gibson Hall, Issaquah. At Mr. Morgan's request his body was donated to the University of Washington.
