Burial: Wight Cemetery, Lincoln twp, Madison Co, IA. h/o Nellie Little, s/o Benj. & Elizabeth (Evans)

Winterset Madisonian - August 1910

Frank L. Myers was born September 1, 1871. Died August 21, 1910, aged almost 39 years. He was united in marriage to Cynthia Little June 17, 1907. To them were born two children, Maude aged 2 and Lela of 3 months. He leaves to mourn his early departure, his wife and children, his father and mother, an only sister and two nephews, besides a host of friends and neighbor who will never forget him. Frank was converted in 1886 and joined with the United Brethren church, and upon his death bed he told us he was not afraid to die. He has gone to the great father of us all, who alone can take away the fear of death. His suffering was intense, yet he did not murmur or complain. He greatly desired to get well and fought a gallant fight, but we believe he is today enjoying a greater victory than earthly life can give.

Funeral services were held and interment made at the Wight cemetery on Tuesday Aug. 23d, Rev. Campbell of the Oak Grove Church officiating.
