Janey's Trip West 1902

SARAH JANE (GOLDEN) MILLER

This is a transcription of a a letter that my Great Grandmother wrote to her parents while she was on a great adventure leaving Kingsville Ontario and heading West by train. 

She wrote most of the letter while riding in the train. Its is written on yellow paper and in pencil some pages are very difficult to read.

I have transcribed the letter to the best of my ability and have had help from my parents to link the pages in correct order.

Sarah Jane (Janey) , her husband Charles Smith (Charlie) Miller and their two children Bernard and Christeen left Kingsville in July 1902. Janey is 42 when she made this trip, her husband is 37 , Bernard is 9  and Christeen is 7. They both have Birthdays while on this trip.   Bernard was later killed in WW1 but that is another story for another web page.
