Anderson-Ellis Cemetery, Houston County

This cemetery is located on FM 1280 one mile past Friday in Houston County.

Please note that the comments column contains my personal observations and things I thought would be helpful. Also, I recorded every marker, which means, one person may be recorded twice if they had two markers (i.e. a military marker in addition to their family marker). If you have any questions after viewing the list, please e-mail me at Letty Harrington.

Note on Barron Children: the four Barron children were the infant children of my Grandparents (Joseph Jimmerson Barron and Naomi Anderson Barron). The stone was purchased by my mother (Eslie Barron Monzingo and two her sisters: Daisy Barron Collins and Willie Barron Morwood). My grandparents are buried in the old part of the Lovelady Evergreen Cemetery just as you go into the front gate--to the left. My aunt "Billie" Morwood is buried on the lot with my grandparents. My mother and dad (L. H. "Mutt" and Eslie Barron Monzingo) are buried in the New part of the L. E. C. at the top on the left. My Aunt Daisy and her husband, Joe N. Collins are also buried in the old part of the LEC. Thank you for your hard work. Norma Dell (Monzingo) Jones @ [email protected]
