Mr. Buford Robinson, age 91, of Crockett, passed away April 13, at East Texas Medical Center Crockett.

Mr. Robinson was born Nov. 14, 1907, in Houston County and had been a resident of this area most of his lifetime. He was the owner and operator of Crockett Mattress Factory and Upholstery Shop for over 50 years and was also a retired farmer and rancher. Mr. Robinson was a member of the Lothrop Masonic Lodge #21 AF 7 AM and of the Center Grove Community Center. He was also a member of the Congregational Methodist Church.

Survivors include numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by first wife, Evie Crowson Robinson and second wife Ive Lee Wells Robinson.

Funeral services for Mr. Robinson were held April 15 at 3 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Doug Howell officiating. Interment followed in the Rockland Cemetery.
