As you have indicated there is some confustion over Salem and the Adams/Little cemetery. There may be two Adams/Little cemeteries, but I can tell you which was the first. My wife's great-grandfather Archie Adams and his wife Selia and children came to Texas about 1873 and settled on what is known as High Prairie sort of north out of Weldon. Much of the farm has been sold off, but maybe abour 50 acres of so are still in the hands of Archie's descendents. In any case, Archie buried the first of their children born after coming to Texas and started what is known as the Adams/Little Cemetery. It is located out in the pasture on still family property and has a Texas Historical Marker. It's about two miles down FM 2915 from Hwy 230. You can't see it from the road. Last I heard it was on property owned by Larry Michael Adams b.1944, a great grand-son of Archie. His latest policy was to keep the cemetery closed to the public and family members as well. But, he may have mellowed with age.
