According to my Aunt Mary Lou Reeves Harrelson (1901 - 1996) interred

According to my Aunt Mary Lou Reeves Harrelson (1901 - 1996) interred
in the Salem Cemetery, her uncle and my great uncle, Wiley Reeves, is buried
in the Salem cemetery in an unmarked grave near the south fence line and near
the W.W. and Lottie Taylor Graves. There is a sink in the ground at this
grave site and was once surrounded by stones or rocks. Aunt Mary Lou said
the grave was never marked. Wiley Reeves was a brother to my grandfather,
Ed Reeves, buried in the Antioch Cemetery. Wiley Reeves and Mattie Byers
Reeves came to Texas prior to 1910 as they are listed on the 1910 census of
Houston County, Texas. Wiley was born ca. 1858 in Taylor County, Georgia to
Thomas Jefferson Reeves and Mary Buckner Reeves. Wiley married Martha
"Mattie" Byers December 25, 1879 in Marion County, GA... Wiley and Mattie
had 7 children, five of whom were still living at the time the 1910 census of
Houston County was taken. One of those children, was Ouida Reeves Taylor,
(4/5/1890 - 12/28/1918) buried in the Salem Cemetery. Ouida married Jim D.
Taylor on December 28, 1912 in Houston County, Texas.
According to my Aunt Mary Lou Harrelson, after Wiley Reeves died
(between 1910 and 1920 (as this family is not listed on the 1920 census of
Houston County), Mattie Byers and two sons, Tom and John Reeves, went back to
Georgia. Wiley was buried in the Salem Cemetery. My Aunt also told me that
Ouida Reeves had a son by the name of Raymond Taylor, interred in the Salem
Cemetery.
