THE STATE OF TEXAS

COUNTY OF HOUSTON

BEFORE ME, the undersigned authority, on this day personally appeared, A. Harrington, known to me to be a credible person, who, after being by me duly sworn, on his oath deposes and says:

That he is the son of Allen Harrington, and wife, Absolena; that the said Allen Harrington and Absolena intermarried about 1854, or 1855, and at the time of their marriage,t he said Absolena was the widow, of P. Conley, then deceased; that the said Absolena was the mother of two children by the said P. Conley, to-wit:

  1. J.C. Conley, and
  2. Mary Conley; that the said Mary Conley intermarried with Aaron Frisby, to whom she bore five and only five, children, to-wit;
  1. Alsie, wife of Joe Walter,
  2. Wm. Frisby
  3. Aaron Frisby
  4. Fred Frisby, and
  5. Kinnie, who intermarried with one Tyler Dunn; that as the issue of the marriage of the said Allen Harrington, and Absolena there were born the following and only the following children:
  1. Alexander Harrington, who married, but who died without issue prior to the death of his mother, Absolena Harrington.
  2. Cora Elizabeth,, Wife of John R. Ramey, of Trinity, Texas,
  3. Sarah Belle, who intermarried with Ed Washington, and who died prior to 1898, leaving five and only five children, to-wit:
    1. John Wesley Washinton.
    2. Evalena, wife, of Geo. Masters.
    3. Media, wife, of Turner P. Miles.
    4. Lillie, wife, of R.C. Crow, and;
    5. Albert Washington
  1. Cynthia Jane, who intermarried with Richard Ralston, and as the issue of her marriage, to him bore one and only one child, to-wit:
    1. Vann Ralston; that the said Cynthia died about twelve years, leaving the said, Vann Ralston, as her only issue and that the said male child, while still a minor of tender years, departed this life about six years ago, leaving no brothers or sisters of the whole or half blood, but leaving his father, Richard Ralston, surviving him.
  1. Albert Harrington, affiant, that the said Allen Harrington, affiant's father, died many years ago, and the said Absolena, affiant's mother, died about 10 years ago, after the death of her daughter, Cynthia Jane Ralston.
