QUIT CLAIM DEED

R. MCDONALD to LACY HARRINGTON

THE STATE OF TEXAS

Trinity County

Know all men by these presents: That I, R. McDonald, of the County of Trinity and State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ($100) One hundred Dollars, to me in hand paid by Lacy Harrington of the County of Trinity and State of Texas, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do by these present bargain, sell, release and forever Quit-Claim unto the said Lacy Harrington, his heirs and assigns, all my right, title and interest in and unto that tract or parcel of Land lying in the County of Trinity and State of Texas, described as follows:

Being situated on the waters of the Trinity River about 7 miles East of the town of Trinity, a part of the T.K. Hadley 1/3 of a league Headright and beginning on the W.B. line of said 1/3 League at the N.E. corner of a 400 acre survey made for Joshua Williams, B. and Antony Hadley, at a stake from which a Pine 15 in dia. marked D vns. N. 46 E 1 4/10 vns. Thence S. 16 E with the line of said 400 acre survey 2385 vrs. to a Slough a stake from shich a sweet gum vns. N. by E 6 vns. 365 vns. from the Trinity River where the original corner stands. Thence down said Slough N. 86 E. 503 vns. to Black Locust from which a Pin Oak Md'd X vns. N.W. 5 vns. Thence N. 15 W. 2480 vns. intersecting the W.B. line of said 1/3 league grant a stake from which an ash 10 in. dia mk'd D vns. N. 89 E 9 vns. Thence S. 75 W. with said W.B. line 491 vns. to the place of beginning, and containing 200 acres of land, more or less. For further description of said tract of land reference is here made to a deed from the said Lacy Harrington by Sheriff of Trinity County, Texas, D.J. Campbell to me, bearing date of 2nd day of May A.D. 1893, and acknowledged before J.P. Stevenson, a Notary Public in and for Trinity Co., Texas on the 5th day of May A.D. 1893, conveying said tract of land.

To have and to hold the said premises, together with all and singular, the rights, privileges and appurtenances to the same in any manner belonging unto the said Lacy Harrington, his heirs and assigns, so that neither myself the aforesaid R. McDonald nor my heirs nor any person or persons claiming under me shall at any time hereafter have claim, or demand any right or title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances, or to any part thereof.
