THIS INDENTURE Made this 29th day of December 1887 by and between H. H. Hunnewell and Isabella P. Hunnewell, his wife, Nathaniel Thayer, (formerly Nathaniel Thayer, Jr.) and Pauline R. Thayer, his wife, and Charles Merriam and Helen Merriam, his wife, of the County of Suffolk, and State of Massachusetts, parties of the first party, and School District Number One (1) of Township Number Twenty Seven (27) North of Range Number Ten (10) West of the County of Howell and State of Missouri party of the second part, WITNESSETH;

That said parties of the first part in consideration of the sum of Five Dollars, to them in hand paid by said party of the second part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, have Granted, Bargained, Sold and Conveyed, and do hereby Grant, Bargain, Sell and Convey to said party of the second part, its heirs and assigns the following described real estate, situate, lying and being in the County of Howell and State of Missouri, to wit:

In the North East quarter of the North West quarter of Section Number Twenty Seven (27) in Township Number Twenty Seven (27) North of Range Number Ten (10) West of the Fifth principal meridian, and Beginning at a point Six Hundred and Sixty (660) feet west of the South East Corner of said North East quarter of North West quarter, Thence West on quarter, quarter section line Four Hundred and fifteen (415) feet, Thence North Two Hundred and Ten (210) feet, Thence East Four Hundred and fifteen (415) feet, Thence South Two Hundred and ten (210) feet to place of beginning, containing Two (2) acres, be the same more or less.

John H Emmet, Notary Public in the County of Jackson, State of Missouri, attests on December 31, 1887, that George H. Nettleton appeared before him personally on behalf of the 6 parties and signed as Attorney in Fact for them.



WARRANTY DEED from the Hunnewells, the Thayers and The Merriams to the School District is filed for record April 23 1888 at 11:00 AM in book S, page 416 by T. B. Carmical, Recorder, which he certified to on May 4, 1888, at West Plains, Howell Co, Missouri.
