Note 1. Carlo was said to have lived to the age of 90 years old. Carlo's wife Santa was said to have lived to the age of 92 years old. The Pugliese family was mostly from Pentone and then some of them moved to a neighboring village of Gimigliano, in the Catanzaro Province of Calabria.

Note 2. Constantina's name may be spelled incorrectly. The Critelli family was from Gimigliano.

Note 3. Giuseppe PUGLIESE's name was changed to Joe Polis.

Note 4. Vincenzo PUGLIESE's name was changed to Jim and or James and the name Pugliese is seen in many different spellings in the Census records.
