A relative says something happened to the Meade family and Mary Jane (and other kids?) were taken into the Flanary family. Don't know if they were adopted. Death Certificate of Tanny M. lists mother maiden name as Mary J. Meade.

RPD says his best friend Leon Flanery was a cousin of LLD. Leon's Mother and Charles P. were cousins. Betty-Paul Cecil-Leon-Earl [youngest to oldest] Leon waited for RPD to come home from work and was taught to sing by RPD. "Best bass singer he ever heard" May have sung on radio in Baltimore. Lake Dickson was a tenor.
