The next Grono Family Reunion will take place on 5 May 2019.

We encourage Grono family descendants who know they will be attending this year's reunion to PRE-REGISTER to help speed up the registration process on the day of the reunion. This year we are also providing a FREE sausage sandwich lunch, and encourage descendants to pre-register to assist with catering - please click here to go to our 2019 Grono Family Reunion Registration form. Start Time: 10:00a.m.
  • Sausage Sandwich lunch will be provided (please pre-register) or BYO Lunch if preferred
  • Hot water will be available in the hall for tea/coffee.
  • There are only a limited number of picnic tables, so it is advisable to bring your own chairs and/or picnic rugs.
NOTE: Please do not sit at the tables near the School House.

Cost: $2 for each person attending the reunion, the money will go to the Ebenezer Church.
The Ebenezer Church kindly allows us to use their grounds at a very low cost, and this is our way of thanking them and contributing towards their upkeep.
The reunion will be on RAIN, HAIL or SHINE!!!!!!
If you have any photos, documents, or certificates you would like to display or share please bring them along. We will have a computer and scanner with us and are able to make scanned copies straight away of anything you would like to share.

Displays at the reunion include:
  • brief history of John and Elizabeth Grono;
  • our family photograph collection;
  • the story of the Active;
  • our collection of Birth, Death and Marriage certificates;
  • over 100 newspaper articles (fully indexed);
  • a selection of original and transcribed documents including the Affidavit of David Loweriston in the Supreme Court Probate Case of John Bader and William Grono’s Diary;
  • the Grono Family Roll of Honour commemorating family members who have served in armed conflicts; and
  • family stories…..
