In May of 2010 we visited the Belleville area of Ontario for a family gathering. While we were there, we visited some local cemeteries since a large number os Jeanne's ancestors on her mother's side are buried there. It was a chilly, sometimes drizzly day, but we were able to photograph a large number of markers and monuments in four cemeteries before giving it up for inside warmth.

A small Society of Friends (Quaker) cemetery on Percy Street in Cobourg, ON. Location Map
A very small private cemetery which is no longer in use, but still maintained and easily visited. It is located on the Frankford Road a few kilometers west of Foxboro, ON. It is easily found as it is right beside the road and labelled. We started with the intention of photographing the entire cemetery since it was so small, but were defeated by cold shutter fingers and shivers.
A large, active cemetery in Stockdale, ON. You can order a CD with transcriptions of the entire cemetery from the Quinte Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society
