Judith Hanks was a cousin of Abraham Lincoln. Her brother. Argyle, married Frances Hargrave 20 Jun 1783, They were the parents of seven children, the eldest of whom was Nancy Hanks b 1784 d 1802. Nancy Hanks was the mother of Abraham Lincoln.
*** Abraham Lincoln b. 12 Feb 1809 biography says "My mother, who died in my 10th year",also states that when Abe was eight (1801) his father moved the family to Indiana; the next year Lincoln's mother died of what was called "milk sickness".s

Judith married John Hazard, son of Henry Hazard and Elizabeth (Hazard), on 6 Jun 1762 in North Farnam Parish, Richmond Co., Virginia. (John Hazard was born on 13 Jan 1740 in North Farnam Parish, Richmond Co., Virginia and died on 18 Aug 1822 in Woodford Co., Kentucky.)
