p. 328Her guardian, Mr. Walthall died. W. M. Phillips applied to be legal guardian of Clyde Gibson, a minor child of J. G. Gibson, Deceased, and said minor has a considerable estate which needs immediate attention by legal representation, and that said minor is under 14 years of age. Entered 29 May 1878.

p. 332It appearing that Wm. M. Phillips has applied for the Guardianship of Clyde Gibson, a minor daughter of J. G. Gibson, deceased, & citation having been published in the Cedar Town Express as required by law & that all other prerequisites necessary for the legally granting the same has been performed. It is Ordered that said Wm. M. Phillips be & he is hereby appointed the legal & lawful Guardian of the person & property of Clyde Gibson & that upon him giving Bond in the sum of __[blank]__ dollars with __[blank]__ as his sureties thereon, and shall take the usual oath as such Guardian, then letters as such to issue to him in terms of the law.
