Ewing, Esther

   General Notes:

Some researchers believe Robert's wife was named Elizabeth Henderson, but it was Esther Colvin who was co-administrator of Robert's estate with probably Ewing relatives who took the inventory of her husband's estate and were securities on the administration bond. One of her sons bore the name of Ewing, and Claude W. Calvin, author of "The Calvin Families", stated that Robert's wife was Esther Ewing, citing "family records" with no other explanationgiven except it was so stated in a letter he received from a great-great grandson.

Esther married Robert Colvin, son of John Colvin and Elizabeth (Colvin). (Robert Colvin was born before 1740 in Chester County, Pennsylvania and died before 13 Nov 1781 in Chester County, Pennsylvania.)
