Gov. William & Alice (Carpenter) Bradford [He came on the Mayflower, and was a Governor of MA for 31 years. Plymouth has statue of him.] [The line with my Mayflower membership]

Major, Lt. Gov. William William & Alice (Adams) Bradford  [He was a Lt. Governor and from Plymouth, Massachusetts]

Rev. William & Alice (Bradford) Adams  [Massachusetts] [William graduated from Harvard in 1671. He was the second pastor at Dedham, MA, and was ordained 3 Dec 1673.]

Rev. Nathaniel & Alice (Adams) Collins [He is buried in West Cemetery, Somers, Tolland Co., CT.]  [He graduated from Harvard University 1697.  Nathaniel Collins, Jr. was the first minister at Enfield, CT. Alice Adams was his wife, great grand daughter of William Bradford who came from England in the Mayflower. Monument Erected 1896, by Jabez Collins and Mrs. L. Collins Whitney.]

James "Jamie" Harvey & Ella Mae (Pease) Mooney  [He was left at the Mooney household at age 3.] James "Jamie" & Ella Mae (Pease) Mooney [He was little drummer boy in Spanish American War. They are buried at Washburn Prairie, Barry Co., MO.] James "Jamie" Harvey & Ella Mae (Pease) Mooney  [He had a resemblance to the Reed family.]

She had a son, James Harvey Mooney, "woods colt", who probably was a Reed but could have been a Mooney. She took Jamie to the Mooney family and left him at age 3, never to return.]  America Melinda P. Simpson

Ignatius & Margaret Simpson  [He died in Warrick Co., IN, and was born in VA, and his wife was somewhat younger than he and was born in PA. William H. and Louisa (Bristow) Simpson lived next door.]

Michael Weeks & K. Catherine (Broyles) Berryhill [He was a soldier of the Florida War and the Civil War and was at the Battle of Pea Ridge. They are buried at Washburn, Barry Co., MO, in Berryhill Cemetery. He was the descendant of a Creek Indian and an Irishman.]

John & Bethiah (Robins) Nations [They lived in Guilford Co., NC, later called Randolph Co., NC. He was  from England.]

Hezekiah & Marci (Holland) Vickery [They lived in Orange Co., NC.]

William & Anne (Crew) Lane [They were Quakers of Charles City Co., VA. She was born in Henrico Co., VA.]

John & Sara (Gattley) Crew [They lived in Henrico Co., VA and Charles City Co., VA, and they were Quakers.]

John & Sarah (Ladd) Crew [They lived in Henrico Co., VA and Charles City Co., VA, and they were Quakers. He came from Crewe, Cheshire, or Devonshire, England.]

William & Patience (Wood) Lane [They lived in St. Stephen Parish, Northumberland, VA and they were Quakers.]

Benjamin & Jane (Armeger?) Hancock [He was from Sussex Co., VA, and they died in Goochland. She may have been from the Armeger family and named Jane.] 

John & Jane (Holt) Hancock [They lived in Surry Co., VA.]

William Hancock [He was killed at Bacon's Rebellion. He named one son, named John, in his will.]

William & Susan (Poynter) Hancock [He was killed by Indians at Berkley Hundred, Jamestown, VA, and was from probably from Devonshire, England.]

 

My Notes

I have about 85,000 documented files so there are a lot of them that aren't posted and that I have not mentioned here on these web pages. And also all of my Revolutionary War soldiers aren't mentioned here. There are a few more. But most of these family lines that I have listed above I have back to the immigrant ancestor.
