Amy Balcom May 5, 1904 - March 1970 (Leroy Balcom + Edna M Rising)George was a bus driver for the school district. He also was treasurer for the Central School and for the Baptist Church. Amy was known for making cakes for special occasions and was often praised for her vocal contributions at public events. She held the post of Tax Collector for the town of Hague.
George and Amy were married in the summer of 1928. They had no children.

Martin H Fitzgerald August 29, 1904 - May 17, 1928
Martin loved adventure and excitement. Family lore suggests he once rode down the mountain on a freshly killed deer in one of the two log-shoots used for bringing logs to Cecil "Zeke" De Larm's Sawmill in the 1920's. It is said he was holding the antlers in each hand and flying through the air at the end, narrowly avoiding being killed.
On May 11, 1928 Martin's skull was fractured when a tire burst on the motorcycle he was riding. He was brought to the local hospital but never fully recovered consciousness.
Hugh Fitzgerald December 19, 1904 - November 17, 1929
Hugh was an avid woodsman and hunter. He killed a 250 pound bear in October of 1929. He died of appendicitis complications at the Moses-Ludington Hospital in Ticonderoga, NY.
